For the past 2 years the Coral Gables commission, lead by Kirk Menendez and his lackees - Ariel Fernandez and Melissa Castro - has governed through DYSFUNCTION. They vote in a block and sow chaos then blame the Mayor for the disaster they have created. Why? To distract you from what they are really doing - serving themselves and the out-of-down developers who fund them to get their large development projects pushed through. Since Mayor Lago won’t let Miracle Mile turn into Brickell, they’ve turned to desperation and are running Coral Gables into the ground, driving residents to their knees in order to force their agenda through.

What does DYSFUNCTION lead by Commissioner Kirk Menendez look like?

Gave themselves a 101% Raise
including a $700/mo new car allowance

Installed a new City Manager with NO EXPERIENCE
so theycould control the City (and pay him $365,000 per year!)

Tried putting the city into $59 MILLION debt

Closed City Hall despite of reassurances from engineers that it was unnecessary
